Training

During 21st Dec 2009 to 20th Jan 2010 I was in training in tata chemicals limited. After the safety training we were allow to go and learn something little in plant. In power plant we were saw generators, substations and so many electrical equipment. In power house there were only protection and maintenance job for electricians and engineers.

We were given the project about the maintenance of electrical motor in electrical workshop. About 8-10 days we stayed in electrical workshop and studied about maintenance of motors. The fitters and winders were very well talented in workshop and they supported us very well. By our luck there was a motor of 1350 KW for maintenance and we could see that by maintenance and all the parts of that motor individually.

In one month we almost visited all the plants of TATA chemicals limited and we met so many operators and engineers working in plant. They all supported us very well.

In finally we have to complete the project about maintenance of motor and we have to make profile and overview of TATA chemicals limited. The report of project work submitted in HR dept. and finally we got the certificate of 1 month vocational training in TATA Chemicals Limited.

Training in Tata Chemicals Limited

After the 7th semester completed we had to get training for 1 month. There was only one good news that we can get training in any company as our comfort.

After completing the exams on 18th dec 2009 I was reach at home on 19 dec. And from the next Monday, 21 dec 2009 I had started the training.
On the 1st day I reach to TATA at 7:55am and wait for the H.R. manager Mr. Upendra Bhayani in visitors room. Suddenly I found my friend Bharat passing from there and I gossip with him. He told me that nobody will come here only you must go to the H.R, department. On the first day I just enter in TATA without gate pass. Near H.R. Dept. Bharat asked someone about Mr. Upendra Bhayani and we came to know that he was on leave on that day. And my all procedure handled by Mr. Upen Dave who was also from H.R. Dept. I would not know that I would have to joint my training from that day.
They instruct that we have to sit in library up till our safety training is not completed. There was one more girl who came for training with his father who is in TCL. Unfortunately it was Monday and safety training was on Wednesday. I visited some dept. with Hemangini and his father.
Then I was went to the office of HOD of ele. Dept. Mr. Modi. He also told me to sit in library up till our safety training completed.
I reached to library. There I meet Barotji and Hemant. First 2 days I set in library and read some Magazines and just see some reference books. We also often use internet in library. On second day my old friend and classmate of Hemangini Sagar Vithalani also came to TCL. Also for training for 1 month.

When i visited HADALA substation.....

It was Tuesday, 25/8/9. At early morning we reach to our college with smiley faces due to civil dress. About two hours we waited for our faculties as usual they were too  late and that was the another reasons for our happiness.

Some of our friends were came with their bikes and some of we reached there through. It is about 15 km far away from Rajkot.

First we visit the control room and they give us the general information about the substation.

Then we went to field batch wise and one of our faculty and one employee was came with us for guiding.

He started with incoming and outgoing bus bar system.  (well it was mainly 400 kv substation and there were also 220kv and 66 kv substation) There was one incoming line from nyara and outgoing lines to jetpur, morbi etc. there was a huge transformer whose secondary of 400 kv the cost of about 10 to 15 cr. After visiting the 400 kv substation we also visited the 220 kv substation and after that our faculty was so much tired so they told us for visit 66 kv substation by our self (and we visited…….ha ha ha). Then we visited the relay room, cable room and battery room. They just gave the general information about it. Then we all met at control room again and some of my friends asked questions also. We also took so many photographs of almost every equipment, machines and maps.

After 2 to 2.5 hours we almost completely visited the substation. Then the student who came with their bykes there were free to go back but we had to wait our bus. Unfortunately bus was late by about 3 hours. After all the bus facility provided by our college. We were got very bored due to those 3 hours.

I reached my boarding about 4 o’clock without breakfast without lunch.

Sorry, college, I will never participate in any of your arrangement.
