When i visited HADALA substation.....

It was Tuesday, 25/8/9. At early morning we reach to our college with smiley faces due to civil dress. About two hours we waited for our faculties as usual they were too  late and that was the another reasons for our happiness.

Some of our friends were came with their bikes and some of we reached there through. It is about 15 km far away from Rajkot.

First we visit the control room and they give us the general information about the substation.

Then we went to field batch wise and one of our faculty and one employee was came with us for guiding.

He started with incoming and outgoing bus bar system.  (well it was mainly 400 kv substation and there were also 220kv and 66 kv substation) There was one incoming line from nyara and outgoing lines to jetpur, morbi etc. there was a huge transformer whose secondary of 400 kv the cost of about 10 to 15 cr. After visiting the 400 kv substation we also visited the 220 kv substation and after that our faculty was so much tired so they told us for visit 66 kv substation by our self (and we visited…….ha ha ha). Then we visited the relay room, cable room and battery room. They just gave the general information about it. Then we all met at control room again and some of my friends asked questions also. We also took so many photographs of almost every equipment, machines and maps.

After 2 to 2.5 hours we almost completely visited the substation. Then the student who came with their bykes there were free to go back but we had to wait our bus. Unfortunately bus was late by about 3 hours. After all the bus facility provided by our college. We were got very bored due to those 3 hours.

I reached my boarding about 4 o’clock without breakfast without lunch.

Sorry, college, I will never participate in any of your arrangement.
